Regional Parts Sales Representative

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Parts Sales Representative to join our award winning business covering Peterborough & Newmarket. This will be a key position within our team, requiring a high level of skill and commitment to getting the job done right first time. The chosen candidate will be exposed to many areas of the business in order to fully understand all the services we offer. In return we will help you develop key skills and behaviours to support your progression within the business.

Manchetts is a highly successful family business, which over the past 60 years has grown to include a number of sites across Cambridgeshire & Suffolk. It is a fantastic time to join us as the business has grown exponentially in the last few years.

Key Aspects of the Role

  • Development and growth of parts sales, both franchise and all makes opportunities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • In conjunction with the Branch Manager, develop our all makes capability, product offering and profitability beyond our franchise activities
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure all vehicle quotes are accompanied by a service contract quotation and follow up
  • Work with Branch Management to help develop a marketing strategy across franchise and non-franchise
  • Build and maintain strong alliances with customers, suppliers and business partners
  • Provide a weekly report to Branch Management detailing all customer contact
  • Agree and achieve revenue growth in all business activities

Key Competencies

  • Experience within the motor industry
  • Some technical knowledge would be an advantage
  • Advanced I.T. skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work off own initiative but also follow instructions
  • Calm and methodical under pressure
  • Smart personal presentation

  • Basic salary of £22-23k depending on experience & skills, based on a 40hr week
