Pre-Visit Checklist

Follow these steps to collect your seized vehicle:

  1. Call 01638 744526 – Speak to our administrator to confirm vehicle release details.
  2. Arrange a time – Confirm the compound’s opening hours and agree on a convenient appointment slot.
  3. Confirm the location – Once your appointment is booked, our team will provide the compound’s address and directions.
  4. Section 165 - Bring your police-stamped release document, proof of identity, driver’s licence, MOT, proof of ownership, and valid insurance certificate.
  5. Collect your vehicle – Arrive at your confirmed time, and our staff will assist with the release.

What You’ll Need

To recover a seized vehicle, you must bring:


  • Section 165 - A police-stamped release document
  • Proof of identity (passport or official photo ID)
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • MOT certificate (if required for the vehicle)
  • Proof of ownership (V5C logbook)
  • A valid certificate of motor insurance


Without these, we cannot release your vehicle.

  • Can I turn up without an appointment?

    No. All vehicle releases are appointment-only and must be arranged in advance by calling 01638 744526.

  • What documents do I need?

    Section 165 - You’ll need a police-stamped release document and valid proof of insurance for the vehicle.

  • Can someone else collect my vehicle for me?

    Yes, but they will need all the required documents, a signed authority letter from you, and a photocopy of your passport or driver’s licence to confirm your consent.

  • Where is the storage compound?

    The compound’s location is only provided once your appointment is confirmed.

  • Do you store all types of vehicles?

    Yes. We provide secure storage for cars, vans, and other seized vehicles until release.
