We’re committed to reducing our environmental impact across all our workshops and services. From lighting and energy to waste management, our sustainability journey is guided by compliance, innovation, and family-led responsibility.

Energy & Environmental Standards


  • ISO 14001 Journey – Our Newmarket and Sleaford sites will begin their ISO 14001 accreditation in 2026.
  • EcoVadis Rating – Manchetts maintains an EcoVadis rating in line with international supply chain standards, demonstrating our compliance and commitment to sustainable practice.
  • LED Lighting – To reduce energy consumption, all of our workshops now run on energy-efficient LED lighting.


Solar Power Initiatives


Peterborough is already powered by solar panels, and installations at Newmarket and Sleaford are underway. These projects are delivered in collaboration with Suffolk County Council, which reinvests any profits into community facilities such as skate parks, ensuring our green energy investment also benefits local people.

Sustainable Choices in Action


We follow sustainable business practices across all sites, including food waste compliance. By managing waste responsibly and reducing unnecessary consumption, we continue to make choices that protect our environment.


Supporting Wildlife


Our Recovery Department has sponsored Haughley Honey beehives to help protect pollinators and strengthen biodiversity in our local countryside. It’s a small but meaningful way of ensuring the environment thrives alongside our business.


Investing in Our Communities


Being part of the local community has always been central to Manchetts. Across our sites, we support charities, sponsor teams, and participate in events that bring people together and raise funds for good causes.

Local Sponsorship & Charities


  • Food Banks – Newmarket and Peterborough support local food banks such as Newmarket Open Door →, with plans to extend this to Sleaford.
  • Charity Events – From Macmillan Coffee Mornings to Racing Welfare’s 24 Cycle Ride →, we regularly raise funds and awareness for important causes.
  • Little Miracles – At Peterborough, our staff volunteer with Little Miracles →, a charity supporting families of children with disabilities.
  • Sports Sponsorship – We’ve sponsored local sports teams, including a cricket team at Peterborough, and staff have represented Manchetts at the Cambridge Half Marathon → for the last four years.

Supporting Where It Matters

We’re proud to have donated vehicles for urgent humanitarian and community needs — including a truck to SHAP UK → for their work, and a van to support the transportation of equine medical supplies during the Ukraine crisis.

Manchetts Peterborough, proud winner of MAN Service Dealer on numerous occasions, offers expert servicing and repair for trucks, vans, buses and coaches. We are committed to being the best service provider in the industry, following the MAN dealer principles adopted across the UK.


Our fully equipped workshop can provide Periodic Maintenance Inspections, routine servicing, and repairs. Our master technicians can conduct complex mechanical and electronic diagnosis and repair. 


Our MAN servicing packages include all Euro 6 costs.
