MAN’s HGV EV readiness target for 2026 has been achieved by all three Manchetts depots. Although there are few MAN EVs on the road at present, clearly there needs to be aftersales network support prepared to provide vehicle handovers and any service requirements.


This means that each site has invested heavily to have suitably qualified technicians, requisite tooling, charging point and an external quarantine bay in case of potential fire danger. All that remains to be done is the bespoke training on the MAN HGV EV itself which will be hosted by MAN in early 2026. 

This HGV provision will now stand alongside the car & LCV EV servicing and recovery currently provided by Manchetts Burwell, Newmarket and Recovery.
