The whole team at Patersons Bodyshop at Newmarket joined Ellie to celebrate her success. Ellie was recognised by her college and her colleagues as uniquely outstanding, both for her dedication and for her innate skills.


Ellie reflected, “Completing my 3 year apprenticeship has given me the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, from routine accident repairs jobs to carrying out full resprays.


Moving forward, I am excited to continue building on this experience, completing more respray projects and developing my skills in custom paintwork.”

Daren Goodchild, Branch Manager, presented Ellie with a new spray gun, and led the party with pizzas for all.

This Spring also saw the qualification of HGV Level 3 apprentice, Jack Palmer, at Manchetts Newmarket.

Jack was a runner up for MAN’s Rising Star award in 2025 and has been a consistently high performer in the workshops. Peter, Branch Manager, and Shift Supervisors, Shumi and Emil awarded his certificate while Charlotte, Service Administrator and Sam, Workshop Controller, presented Jack with one of his wish list of tools. In his acceptance speech, Jack thanked all of his colleagues who had shared knowledge, good humour and their tools to make his training such a success.

Plenty of pizza and good wishes followed!
